Many people have rightfully felt bored and cheated by church!

Like hoping that politicians are sincere and honest, many hope that clergy (pastors/priests) are sincere and honest too. To really know, one must look very closely at what they do!
Supposedly honest Church "authorities" dishonestly drain people of their time, money, and personal self-authority/freedoms.
Here is how they do it.
1. THE REAL DEAL ABOUT CHURCH: In "higher level" discussions among the denominations, church "authorities" disagree among themselves about many supposedly important "whos", "hows", "whens", "whys", and "whats." Because of their disagreements, they must collectively admit that they really just do not know about many things for sure. They let pass any need for really "hearing from God" or rethinking "traditions." They "agree to disagree" about important matters and agree to not challenge each other on issues in public.
(NOTE: In reality, church "authorities" want to protect the security of their own particular "cash cow" traditions that provide profitable and easy rerun ministry. "The fix is in." Church "authorities" endeavor to make sure that no one will be "rocking the boat." Every denomination's status quo is protected, regardless of their disagreements. It's like an illicit cartel.)
2. THEIR UNRIGHTEOUS DECEPTION: Church "authorities" (pastors/priests) then turn around to their own followers and dishonestly lie, coerce, and cheat (always with a smile) with claims that they do know "for sure" about many things. They claim to "know," of course, because their power largely depends on them being viewed as "authorities who hear from God." Clergy also work hard to maintain a lofty aura which threatens that anyone who questions or challenges them is "under penalty from God." It is the best way for them to control the "sheep" and to most easily continue shearing them of their time and money. While church "authorities" (pastors/priests) dishonestly dominate their "sheep", they conveniently forget how honest they are during their own "higher level" discussions.
Church "authorities" however do agree on mutually beneficial tactics (call them "traditions") for maximizing their church profits and minimizing their work!
Jesus however said, "Your traditions render the Word to no effect!" concerning the actions of dishonest church authorities in their efforts to garner unearned adulation, praise, and power by the easiest means available by using bogus, lazy, and rerun "traditions." (Matthew 15:6 and Mark 7:13)
THE RESULTS: 1) People lose $$$ to much rerun ministry. 2) People lose their time to rerun ministry. 3) The Bible stays largely hidden. & 4) Clergy do not need to study much or "hear from God."
Like
“That Man Behind the Curtain” in THE WIZARD OF OZ,
dishonest authorities have long enjoyed unearned adulation, praise, and power by the easiest “traditional” means available which is dishonestly making people mistakenly believe that “authorities” control the essence of their lives.
Jesus did NOT approve…, and He worked to "free the captives."
